Citizenship is taught as a discrete subject at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

YEAR 9
Communities and Identities: GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP - REFUGEE ISSUES
Communities and Identities: GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP - FAIR TRADE
Communities and Identities: THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM
Pupils at Key Stage 4 study Citizenship for one lesson per fortnight and the
Scheme of Work follows the AQA Short Course GCSE syllabus. This syllabus
examines the following topics:
- School And Work And Local Community;
- National And European Citizenship;
- Global Citizenship;
This course requires the completion of coursework.
