Key Stage 3
Cromwell's year 9 students again took part in the national online test which
takes place around May each year. From its early stages, when Cromwell was one
of only 7 schools in Cambridgeshire taking part in the test, participation has
increased. This year there were 1762 schools and 172 225 students who took part.
The test is carried out completely on computer, online and the students' efforts
are automatically sent to the servers of the QCA at the end of each of the two
50 - minute tests.
Once again Cromwell's students performed very well, with a higher percentage of
students achieving the key levels of 5 and 6 than those nationally.

Congratulations to the teachers, support and technical staff in the ICT
department, but most of all to the students themselves, for a truly excellent
effort
GCSE
The ICT results continue to rise at Cromwell, as do the school's as a whole. The
school's A* to C performance was about 58% but results in ICT were even better
with last year's 67% A* - C being improved yet again to 75.8%. This is the 5th
consecutive year of improvement. Again, congratulations go to all involved,
especially the hard-working students.
