Religious Education (RE)


At Key stage three pupils have one hour of R.E. a week which complies with the government's statutory requirement.

We study a range of issues in the major six world religions concerning beliefs and practices, as well as religious responses to moral and social issues.

At Key stage four Religious Studies is becoming an ever more popular option for GCSE. We study a range of issues from the perspective of Christianity and Islam, and follow the AQA syllabus.

Classes are taught by a number of experienced teachers who employ a range of teaching abilities to reach their full potential.
