Why Should I Study Geography?

Geography is a subject that examines the actions of people and develops an understanding and appreciation of our physical environment. Geography also helps us to question our attitudes and values and encourages individuals to strive to reduce inequalities in the World. Students are asked to examine their responsibilities as global citizens and recognise that they too can play an important part in sustainable development. Geography provides a comprehensive basis from which students can follow any career path they wish to pursue.
