What Is It?

• We study English, mathematics, science, geography, history, and other academic subjects
• We offer vocational qualifications to prepare you for the world of work
• You are taught about personal development through subjects like careers, citizenship and PSHE.

What if…

• You left school without knowing how to earn or manage money?
• You left school without understanding about sex and relationships?
• You left school without understanding the role you play as a citizen of our country?
• You left school without understanding the risks of drugs, smoking and alcohol abuse?
• You left school without knowing what your career pathway options are?

We know that GCSE’s are important

• But you need to learn about more than literacy and numeracy to improve your chances of getting ahead in your life.
• If you weren’t taught careers, citizenship, enterprise, PSHE and work-related learning then we wouldn’t be doing our job properly and you would be missing out on important skills and experiences.
