Year 7 Ely

We visit Ely along with the other Humanities subjects to look at how shopping changes, as you move though the main shopping area. We do activities including land use evaluation, questionnaires, and traffic surveys


Year 8 - in development


Year 9 Natural history Museum

This is run with the Science Department. with a look at the Earth Galleries section which contains many interactive displays, including an earthquake simulator. This links into the Volcanoes and Earthquakes topic.

Year 10 Norfolk Broads

Run for GCSE Geographers to visit a variety of locations in the Norfolk Broads near Walsham in Norfolk including Cockshoot Broad, Salhouse Broad, Malthose Broad and the Rivers Bure at Horning.
Looks at issues of conservation management, pollution, tourist facilities ad the geographical skills of questionnaires, field sketching - annotating, and water sampling.

Year 11 Cambridge and Hunstanton

In the second year of the GCSE we offer a trip to Hunstanton. This is used in the basis of the year 11 coursework about coastal management. The Cambridge fieldtrip covers activites on urban land development and use.
