Apprenticeship Opportunities
Apprenticeships are a way of working and earning whilst gaining skills and experience, and continuing in education that relates to the apprenticeship role.
Cromwell Community College will be providing workshops and presentations on apprenticeships as part of the Careers Programme. The following are some key things to remember about apprenticeships:
- An Apprenticeship is employment (a job), and in order to become an apprentice, the apprenticeship job must be applied for and successfully obtained
- An Apprenticeship course should not be applied for until apprenticeship employment is obtained
- An apprenticeship role can be applied for at any time as long as the applicant meets the application criteria which will be explained in the apprenticeship job advert.
- Cromwell provides, every fortnight, a listing of local apprenticeship roles across every employment sector. This list can be accessed from the vacancy report below
- We have also provided some useful links regarding apprenticeships.
