Which Courses?

You have an option to study a dedicated A Level programme or a mixed programme of study. Please view our Sixth Form Prospectus here:

Entry Requirements

We want all our students to be successful on the courses they choose to follow. You will be given careful advice and guidance at various stages through the application process. Our entry requirements are designed to help you on the road to success.

  • A Level Programme of Study

You will be asked to select three A level subjects or equivalent, all of which will be studied over 2 years. To follow the traditional three A level route, you will need to have achieved a minimum of six 9 - 5 grades including a grade 5 in English and Maths.

  • Mixed Programme of Study (A Level, Technical and Vocational qualifications)

You will be expected to have achieved at least five 9 - 4 grades at GCSE, including GCSE English. A 'Level 2' vocational qualification will be regarded as the equivalent of one of the five required 9 - 4 GCSE grades.

Many subjects have specific GCSE requirements. Please ensure that you check the requirements for each subject.
