WELLBEING

We appreciate how difficult it can be to manage the stresses many of you must be facing at present. As part of our wellbeing process during this uncertain time, Form Tutors will email their tutor groups every Monday morning, using their school email addresses, to check that each pupil is ok and to see if they need any support. It is vital that the pupil responds to that email as this our main way of ensuring they are safe and happy.  We would appreciate parent/carer support in ensuring they reply promptly.

If the Form Tutor receives no response, then they will email the parent/carer to remind the pupil to respond and also to check that all is ok at home. Names of pupils not responding are then sent to the Head of Year who will ring and speak to parents/carers to check that all is well.

COVID-19 AND FREE SCHOOL MEAL ELIGIBILITY

If your financial circumstances have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis you could now be entitled to Benefit Related Free School Meals. The Covid-19 crisis has also highlighted the difference between Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) and Benefit Related Free School Meals (FSM).

The government can only offer help to those who are in receipt of Benefit Related Free School Meals so we encourage applications from all year groups.

To find out if you are eligible please fill out our simple online application form at HERE where you will receive an instant response as to your eligibility status. If you are eligible for FSM  your child’s school will be informed within 3 days.
