CLICK HERE FOR YEAR 7 INSTRUCTIONS - 23/03/2020 to 03/04/2020
Please see above instructions for two weeks’ work that your child can complete. Heads of subject will be regularly emailing pupils directly and subject staff will be available to answer questions and set additional work, should it be required. Pupils will not receive formal feedback initially but this is something we are working to be able to provide, should the disruption continue beyond Easter.
We strongly believe that, despite these extremely difficult circumstances, a continuance of some sense of normality and structure is essential and, therefore, would stress that your child is encouraged to follow their normal timetable with appropriate breaks. It may not be possible for your child to follow this timetable exactly but please encourage them to spend the same time on each subject they would if in school across a total of 5 hours per day.
Our intention, once schools are allowed to open again, is to complete end of year exams as planned. This would enable pupils to have something to work towards to demonstrate the learning they have completed over this disrupted period and give essential feedback to those pupils preparing for public exams in 2021.
Staff will be available via email to answer questions during the school day, although this may not always be immediate due to illness or their own childcare requirements. The primary source of contact for pupils should be their emails and we would recommend they check these daily for further instructions/work.
School email can be accessed by:
