A'level and BTEC Results Celebrations
Students at Cromwell Community College have been celebrating after receiving their A'level and BTEC results.
Heather Paul, Director of Sixth Form at Cromwell Community College, said: "Our students have demonstrated remarkable commitment throughout their A-Level studies and today’s results have made it all worthwhile.
“They are now ready to take the next step as confident young adults - I am very proud of each and every one of them."
Among the successes, the students who deserve a special mention are:
- Aleena Mariya Binoy joined us from India in 2023, halfway through the academic year. We had very little knowledge of her past curricula, but we felt Aleena deserved a chance at Biology, Chemistry and Maths A level. Her spoken English at that time, by her own admission, was basic. Aleena then joined the new Year 12 cohort and adapted quickly to the English education system and her grades swiftly rose. She is now leaving us at the end of Year 13 with three C grades and has a place to study nursing at the University of Lincoln. Her journey with us has been immense and we wish her every success in the future.
- Kayla Rickwood and Ashleigh Mason both achieved A*, A*, A and are off to Durham University to study Psychology.
- Ethan Broderick is now off to read Computer Science, at the University of Surrey and achieved A, B, B.
- Katie Rae Neil has secured a degree level apprenticeship at Astra Zeneca, after achieving four A levels, including three B grades.

Jane Horn, Executive Headteacher of Cromwell Community College, said: "These outstanding results are a reflection of the dedication and hard work shown by both our students and staff.
“It is a joy to see so many young people moving confidently toward their chosen career paths, and we wish them every success in the future."
