The College will:
  • Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for each child.
  • Ensure that each child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure that each child is a valued member of the College community.
  • Offer a broad and balanced curriculum while meeting the individual needs of each child.
  • Achieve high standards of work and behaviour.
  • Help each child build good relationships and develop a sense of responsibility.
  • Keep parents and carers informed about their child’s progress and general College matters.

 

Parents and Carers will:  
  • Ensure that their child attends College regularly on time, properly equipped and in the correct College uniform.
  • Notify the College immediately of any absence.
  • Make the College aware of any concerns or problems that might affect their child’s work or behaviour.
  • Support the College’s behaviour expectations, including any sanctions which may arise from non-compliance of these expectations. 
  • Support their child with homework and other opportunities for home‐learning.
  • Attend Parents’ Evenings and discussions about their child’s progress.
  • Behave in a respectful, positive and appropriate manner when onsite.
  • Use social media positively.

 

Pupils will:
  • Wear the College uniform correctly and bring the required equipment each day.
  • Complete all classwork and homework to the best of their ability.
  • Follow the College’s behaviour expectations.
  • Be co-operative, polite and helpful to others.
  • Have respect for the College buildings and the surroundings and keep it free from litter.
  • Have respect for others and their property.
  • Use the adults who support them to ask for any help they may need.
  • Get involved in College life and opportunities both in and beyond the classroom.
