Vision & Values
At Cromwell we strive to ensure that we live the Values of our Trust and College in our everyday work, aiming for all children to be successful, respectful and confident learners.
We have a vibrant, modern learning environment enabling students to flourish academically and socially. Our central ethos of care, respect for the needs of others, courtesy and a warm community feel provides an atmosphere where everyone can make the very best of their talents to achieve success and are inspired to fulfil their potential.
We believe you will find:
- a calm purposeful environment, a thirst for learning and values where everyone matters.
- a College where pupils are given every opportunity to succeed in the widest sense.
- an all-through College which ensures pupils of all ages (4-18) learn from each other and enjoy the benefits of teaching all phases of education on one site.
To that end we have:
- a College community: Trust staff, governors, staff, parents/carers and young people all working together; using expertise, experience and motivation.
- individuals making a positive contribution to their communities.
- pupils who are successful learners, developing the skills and attitudes that will equip them for life.
- staff who are professionally equipped and dedicated to enabling every pupil to succeed; inspiring, supporting and challenging all in their care and providing them with opportunities beyond the classroom.
- a broad and balanced curriculum offering our pupils the potential to achieve their personal best and secure academic success.
- a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities enabling pupils to broaden their horizons, to stimulate their creative talents and skills and to try new activities.
- pupil participation in the organisation of our College. We encourage and appreciate the older members of our College providing support for our Primary pupils in a number of ways. This develops our ethos of Community, where everyone works together and supports one another.
